Union Adventist University Advancement builds relationships to enrich the lives of our stakeholders and provide for the very best programs and opportunities for our students and employees, both now and in the future.

Union Adventist University Advancement will be recognized for excellence in building relationships, communicating, fund raising, stewarding and serving our stakeholders
Long Range Goals
To engage the president and college trustees in the advancement functions resulting in their involvement, support and trust
To connect with stakeholders and build their interest in the Union Adventist University Fund and the Student Scholarship Fund resulting in increased gifts and numbers of donors
To build relationships with individuals and organizations who are interested in furthering the college's mission through increased current and deferred philanthropic support for special projects, capital campaigns and endowment initiatives
To provide effective giving platforms for students to engage with prospects in support of mission experiences.
To provide support to staff and volunteers for major gift solicitation through prospect research, planning and management of the fund-raising process
To strategically steward donors and volunteers with timely and meaningful recognition and personal involvement
To communicate with stakeholders using various media for the purpose of educating, informing and fostering goodwill
To provide alumni opportunities to remain connected with each other and stay informed about the college's progress and accomplishments
To provide families opportunities to be involved with and supportive of their students
To generate a positive impression with alumni-in-residence during their time as a student
To steward donors by ensuring scholarship funds, program endowment proceeds and other restricted gifts are allocated appropriately
To engage staff in fostering a work environment that encourages accountability, affirmation, ethical decisions, professionalism and internal communication in order to maintain high standards related to compliance, trust accreditation and audits
To mentor student employees as they gain professional competence, build leadership skills and experience fully integrated learning while in our employment
To foster mutually beneficial relationships between college employees and the local community
